Welcome to the Texas Fire Museum

The Texas Fire Museum was organized and founded in August of 1999, to acquire, restore, and preserve the old City of Dallas Fire Department Maintenance Facility.  Presently, we have over 70 pieces of antique fire apparatus on display that span over a century of the fire service industry.  The Museum also showcases more than 500 different types of vintage firefighting equipment and tools.  In addition, we have the "world's largest" working exhibit of historic warning devices featuring rare lights from the 1930's.

The Texas Fire Museum is considered a "working" museum because we restore, maintain, and repair fire apparatus while it is on display.  Many of the vehicles housed within the Museum are functional and are used in an array of events throughout the year.  As a result, our exhibits are truly dynamic.  If you are interested in learning more about Texas Fire Museum Restoration Services, click here.

Attention, North Texas Historical Fire Society Members . . .

. . . As a benefit to the membership of the North Texas Historical Fire Society (the North Texas Chapter of SPAAMFAA), a new website is being constructed in order to give the North Texas Chapter its own, unique online identity.  The new website will contain a Calendar of Events, Photo Albums, Links, and information pertinent to the club itself.  Once it is completed and online, a link to the new website will be included here.
