About the Texas Fire Museum 


The Texas Fire Museum works in conjunction with the Dallas Firefighters Museum and the North Texas Historical Fire Society (SPAAMFAA) Chapter with the restoration and preservation of antique fire apparatus.  Presently, we have over 60 antique apparatus on display.

The Texas Fire Museum is open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM (CST).  You may contact us by phone at 214-267-1867 or by e-mail at docent@texasfiremuseum.org.

The Texas Fire Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  The museum is located at the old City of Dallas Fire Department Maintenance Facility.  Donations are gladly accepted.  You may send your donation to: Texas Fire Museum, 2600 Chalk Hill Road, Dallas, Texas, 75212-4506.

The Texas Fire Museum, Dallas Firefighters Museum and North Texas Historical Fire Society are non-profit organizations that do not discriminate according to race, creed, color, sex, age or national origin.  The Texas Fire Museum encourages members to belong to the Dallas Firefighters Museum as well as the Society for the Preservation and Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus in America.

Membership is open to anyone and ownership of fire apparatus is not a required.  To become a member, please go to the Membership Information page.
