The Texas Fire Museum is
housed in the former Dallas Fire Department Shops on Chalk
Hill Road, in Dallas. In 125,000 square feet, we have two apparatus bays; a mechanic's shop; a
machine shop; an apparatus assembly room with a separate
engine assembly area; a gold leaf shop; a pump-test room; a
wood shop; a conference room; office space; a full, eat-in
kitchen; a dorm
room for over-night guests; and additional indoor storage
space for apparatus.
