The Texas Fire Museum is
housed in the former Dallas Fire Department Shops on Chalk
Hill Road, in Dallas. In 125,000 square feet, we have
a North and South Apparatus Bay; Mechanic's Shop; Machine Shop;
Apparatus Assembly Room; Engine Assembly Room; Gold Leaf Shop;
Pump Test Room; Wood Shop; Electrical Shop; Conference Room;
Office and Library; Kitchen; Dormitory; Recreation Room; and additional indoor storage
space for apparatus.
