Museum Tour

The Texas Fire Museum offers over 50 antique fire apparatus for visitors to view.  Inside the museum we have 32 pieces on display in the North and South Apparatus Bays.  Over 85 percent of the apparatus are maintained and driven often away from the museum.  We can provide fire apparatus for civic events, charity events, parades, birthday parties, weddings, funerals and musters.  We are considered a “working museum” since the majority of the apparatus displayed are driven and used outside the museum at functions and events.

While traveling through Dallas, Texas, we encourage you to visit the Texas Fire Museum and sit behind the driver’s seat, step on the tailboard, turn on the emergency lights, ring the bells, hear the sirens and listen to the active fire department radio calls.  We invite you to personally experience the apparatus displayed.
