The Texas Fire Museum performs apparatus
restoration services and is dedicated to performing high-quality
restorations of historic firefighting apparatus. We offer
turn-key, frame-up restorations, such as the 1928 Southern
and the 1947 General projects profiled in this section of our website. We also
perform partial restorations including: pump repair, body
work, engine work, drive-train repair, electrical systems,
braking systems, hydraulic repair, painting, gold leafing, and
upholstery restoration. Reproduction and fabrication of rare or
obsolete parts is also a specialty of the Texas Fire Museum.
If you have a restoration project in mind,
or just have interest in the restoration process, we encourage
you to contact the museum.
