Projects
at Texas Fire Museum
The Texas Fire Museum performs apparatus restoration services and is dedicated to performing high-quality restorations of historic firefighting apparatus. We offer turn-key, frame-up restorations such as the 1929 Southern project profiled in this section of our Web site. We also perform partial restorations including pump repair, body work, engine work, drive-train repair, electrical systems, braking systems, hydraulic repair, painting, gold leafing and upholstery restoration. Reproduction and fabrication of rare or obsolete parts is also a specialty of the Texas Fire Museum. If you have a restoration project in mind, or just have interest in the restoration process, we encourage you to contact the museum. Feel free to browse through this section of the Web site and check back often to see our continuing progress on active restoration projects underway at the Texas Fire Museum. |
