Recently, Texas Fire Museum
Restoration Services Shop Foreman Doug Kindred had an excellent
idea regarding how to spread the presence of the Texas Fire
Museum across the globe: distribute our Texas Fire Museum/North
Texas Historical Fire Society patch among visitors to the
museum, and ask them to take a picture of themselves, along with
the patch, in a place special or unique to them. Our goal
through this project is to create a wall of photographs in the
museum-portion of our facility with pictures of our visitors,
the patch, and different locations worldwide.
Dedicated, individual photo albums
for photo submissions are located on our
Official Facebook
Fan Page. Once we receive a greater number of photo
submissions, we plan on creating different awards to recognize
those who have made significant contributions to the project.
Texas Fire Museum/North Texas
Historical Fire Society patches are available for sale in our
Gift Shop. For our long-distance visitors who wish to
participate, checks in the amount of $8.00 can be made out to
Texas Fire Museum and mailed to the following address:

Fan Page as well as printed out and displayed in the museum.
